The mission of Bethel A.M.E Church of Dale City, Virginia is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of the local community by spreading Christ?s liberating gospel through word and deed.

Bethel A.M.E Church of Dale City, Virginia shall engage in carrying out the spirit of the original Free African Society out of which the A.M.E Church evolved. This will be accomplished through continuing programs of:

1. preaching the gospel,
2. providing a welcoming, scripture-based environment for worship by families in the local area,
3. feeding and clothing those in need,
4. administering to the needs of those in schools, homeless shelters, nursing homes, senior citizens? homes, hospitals, prisons, or other institutions, and
5. encouraging self-sufficiency through scholarship, gainful employment and sound financial planning
